Claire did an amazing job on my hair. I had almost given up on my wavy hair and thought I had lost most of my curl, but Claire is an expert of curly hair and my curls are back and the overall shape of my cut suits my face shape. Love it!

I had my hair tinted and cut by Claire. From start to finish it was absolutely lovely. This was my first appointment and we discussed the colour I normally had. I spontaneously booked a 'late offer' appointment and I received a call back and managed to book in for a next day appointment. I was so happy as I needed a cut before my holiday and the process felt effortless. I am always a little anxious about getting a hair cut as I have thick, long, frizzy/wavy hair. I was booked in with Thea who was beyond amazing! She listened, she considered my face shape and what i was telling her about my lack of styling skills and took time to walk me through what she planned to do. I am beyond happy with the finished look and she was able to help me with some styling tips too. I would highly recommend I also had my 6 year old daughter with me and Thea was kind, offering her drinks and snacks which was a lovely added extra. I will be back! Thank you so much 🙂

I've been going to Stone for years and I have had a lot of different stylists in that time and every single one without exception has been amazing, professional, friendly and talented. It is always a very welcoming atmosphere, always clean, comfortable and there is always a menu of snacks and drinks for long appointments. The service is exceptional, always possible to get an appointment and they are flexible around my work schedule. Since my first visit I haven't considered going anywhere else.
Booked a last minute deal for a wash, cut and style with Thea. Thea did a pre-cut consultation to ensure she knew exactly how I wanted my hair to look. The cut was perfect and looked amazing one my hair was styled. The products used were fabulous. My hair felt and smelled incredible, so much so that it still smelled wonderful 2 days later. I called the salon and asked to purchase the shampoo, conditioner and oil and Thea popped a complimentary mousse product in the bag for me. Honestly, this is the best salon in Canterbury. I return time and time again and have never been disappointed.

Part of me doesn't want to leave this review because I don't want everyone knowing just how good Lucy is 😀 Lucy may only be in her first year as a qualified hairdresser but she has immaculate attention to detail and she has the making of an amazing colourist. I used to frequent a salon in Mayfair when I worked in London and had the same, incredibly talented, hairdresser for 10+ years. Now I don't go into London as much, I've been trying to find another gem like the one I found in London and Lucy is that gem. She took my hair to a soft golden copper and it is just stunning. I was able to get a last minute appointment for a balayage. Charlotte took the time to listen to what I wanted and explained everything clearly to me, ensuring I knew how long long each step would take. She made my visit a very enjoyable experience. The little touches like the complimentry drinks menu and snack trolley were impressive and I loved the foot rests at the sinks! Most importantly I loved my hair when it was done!

Bexx is honestly the best hairstylist I've ever had. An absolute magician for curly hair.
My favourite hairdressers ever! I have curly hair and have spent many years trying to find someone who actually knows what they are doing. My curly hair world transformed when I met Bexx! She is an incredible expert in her field. Bexx listens and delivers exactly what I've asked for and I completely trust her with my hair. It's so nice, as a curly girl, to be able to put my trust is someone so wholeheartedly. Bexx is also a lovely human being! It's like I'm popping in to get my hair cut by an old friend, and we just pick up where we last left off, without having to navigate the nonsense of small talk. Bexx normally washes my hair but, at my most recent appointment, this was undertaken by their apprentice (my apologies but I cannot remember your name). Although learning and early in her career journey she was brilliant. She knew exactly how to treat my curly hair and was honestly so much better than many self-proclaimed curly experts I've encountered elsewhere in the past. The broader team members that I've spoken with and been greeted by have all been so lovely. Everyone is incredibly welcoming. I've never been someone who loves going to the hairdresser but this place has changed all of that and I really look forward to going now. I've been looking for a hairdresser familiar with cutting and styling curly/wavy hair for a while now. I came across Bexx on Instagram and booked a 15 minute consultation with her. She straight away made me feel at ease and I had confidence in her to cut my hair. I booked a cut a few weeks later and Bexx cut in a fringe for me which I was really nervous about, but she was great and I love my new style!! Bexx knows a lot about looking after curly hair and I really recommend her. I don't have tight curls, just quite loose waves with curls through it but Bexx knew how to work with my hair and the best thing for it. I got a personalized curl care card afterwards too and Bexx taught me a few tips to help me style it at home too. Really pleased, thank you ☺️
My first time at the salon with Bexx was an outstanding experience. On Bexx's insta is the first time I have seen a hairdresser post pics of hair like mine, curly, tend to frizz and flyaway, so I was confident that she will know what to do with my curly hair. She is the only hairdresser I've ever had who properly knew how to cut curly hair. She asked about my hair routine and put together a care plan and a haircut specific to my needs and the way I style my hair. She explained every step of the process so I can style it better at home. The haircut is marvellous, suits me greatly and I am now equipped to style it the same regularly. As soon as I left the salon I purchased all the products in my care plan, and I already booked my next hair appointment with her.
I've been going to Stone for about the past 9 years, and I can't fault them. Bexx has been cutting my hair for most of that time, and it's such a joy every time I go - so friendly and professional. Bexx really listens to what I'm after, but is honest with me if she knows it's not going to work with my hair type or colouring. Before settling at Stone, I used to drift from hairdresser to hairdresser, so often hating the cuts they gave me, but I've not once had that experience here

Got my hair cut and had a full head balayage with Bexx. So impressed with result, the colour and cut are beautiful and I’m in love! Just had my regular cut and dry haircut with Bexx Friday 30th October and again it was too a high standard. Bexx knows what I like and does so with her expertise. During these difficult times with Covid the salon makes sure everyone is safe with everything cleaned between clients and sanistising hand gel. I had my hair washed by a lovely young lady (sorry forgot her name). My Christmas cut is already booked and I hope they all stay safe and well.

Bexx has changed my hair colour multiple times (I am indecisive) but always leaves my hair in amazing condition and it is never damaged. I visited the salon last week, once again so pleased with my results! My visit whilst COVID restrictions are still in place was exceptional. Bexx ensured I used their track and trace code. After a bit of a disaster elsewhere I found the lovely Bexx who has worked magic to restore my hair!I have naturally frizzy thick and wavy hair, which had been quite damaged. The kerasilik treatment she gave me has made so much difference, it doesn't frizz up in the rain and just looks so smooth. Where I used to have to use straighteners every day, I often don't use them for days, and then only to get rid of a couple of stubborn kinks.Bexx has cut my hair and coloured it perfectly. As I discovered I am a bit sensitive to the permanent dyes, she tried a non-permanent which has worked really well. The colour holds for much longer than the root growth, and because it fades gradually it doesn't leave such an obvious line.I'd really recommend Stones, everyone who works there is really friendly and it's always a very relaxing and enjoyable visit.

Used Stone Hairdressers for the first time today (well my partner did) I had booked for my partner to get her hair done as a birthday gift. From the moment we stepped through the door the girls were extremely welcoming! It's a beautiful salon, well kept and clean. Each staff member in there was very approachable and attentive to everyones needs. Finally - the finish look my partner had done was absolutely GORGEOUS. A huge thank you and shout-out to Chelsie. She is extremely knowledgeable and always knows how to make my hair look its best. I always leave with beautiful shiny colour, which gets regular compliments. Paige and the entire team have really taken good care of me. I went to see them after having my son and, for those who don't know, pregnancy and postpartum changes your hair in CRAZY ways! The team really looked after me and helped me get my hair back to a very healthy place.

I attended Stone Hairdressing (Canterbury) yesterday (14/06/2022) for my first visit and I am already planning on returning! The stylist who applied my treatments was Paige. Paige was extremely professional throughout. Paige made sure that I felt comfortable and answered my many questions about the treatments that were being done. Paige spoke through each step of the process ensuring I understood the rationale and reassured me throughout. Paige done the Kerasilk Keratin smoothing treatment, full head of colour, cut and finish on my hair. I am extremely pleased with the results, goodbye white hairs, hello silky brown locks! I would highly recommend Paige as a stylist. Paige pays very good attention to detail, excellent precision when cutting and maintained professional values. I will be booking with Paige in the future because she made my first Salon experience feel less overwhelming and more relaxing than I could of ever imagined!

I was a model for Paige, and early client for Annie and now Paige, and they are both superb young hair stylists. I would encourage you to book with them. Their attention to detail and care is second to none.
It had been a long time since I had been back in a salon since the pandemic started and I had been nervous about it because I am also normally very self conscious about my hair, but from booking my appointment through to entering the salon I was immediately put at ease at each step of the way. The booking process was simple, and friendly on the phone, and when I walked into the salon everyone was also really friendly. I was met at reception by Paige who was also cutting my hair, and immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease that I forgot about my worries! She made sure to check exactly what I would be happy with beforehand, and continuously made sure to check I was happy with my cut and had no problem with changing things that I wasn't sure about, and also reassuring me about what would work and wouldn't work with my hair so I was very happy with the result. The salon environment itself was spacious and relaxing. This was my first time here to have my hair cut.. a friend had found their website and sent me a link which looked really good and I was really encouraged by all the reviews. Now I can see why clients have left such good reviews!!.. I definitely plan to come back! Thank you guys!!

My first visit to Stone’s. Lacey listened really carefully to what I’d hoped for and was very patient! She gave me a luxurious shampoo and head massage followed by an excellent haircut and blow dry. After years of not going to the hairdressers because of numerous poor experiences from stylists professing to understand my curly hair which resulted in poor outcomes, and months of considering trying the “curly cut” at Stone, I finally over came my anxiety and booked a consultation with Jess. She was kind and very empathic from the off, took the time to really look at my hair, explain their curly cut process and was incredibly welcoming with absolutely no pressure for me to book a cut there and then. Today I attended for the cut and again Jess was lovely, talked me through precisely what she was going to do and what products would be used. She ensured I was ok and comfortable throughout and for the first time in a salon , I felt unjudged and had an honest and genuine experience which resulted in my hair looking and feeling better than it has in years! Thank you to Jess, it took a lot for me to commit but she remained, kind, professional and attentive throughout. I've been going to the Canterbury salon for a couple of years now and it's ALWAYS a fun, happy place to spend an hour – lovely, friendly staff, welcome smiles, great atmos. The wonderful Jess is my stylist – she cuts my hair perfectly every time, gives great hair [and cheese!] advice, and is a joy to be around. And to cap everything, the new and delicious snacks trolly is AWESOME.
I visited Stone Hairdressing on Saturday 21st of May 2022 with my mother in law Doreen to have our hair styled for my Daughter Holly's wedding. I have been coming to Stone for years and have had my hair cut and coloured by several members of the team who are all lovely, knowledgeable and really listen to what you want. I thoroughly recommend Jess - she has transformed my reasonably short dark hair to long healthy blonde locks and I have never loved my hair more. When you sit in the seat with her you instantly feel at ease and although she is professional, you feel like you are chatting with a friend for a few hours. I have also been really impressed at the changes that have been made following the Covid pandemic; everything is super clean and there are lots of safety procedures in place that the staff strictly follow. Having used the same hairdresser for 28 years I swapped to Stones after the lockdown. It is the best move I ever made. Jess, who has coloured and cut my hair twice now, is so knowledgeable and professional not to mentioned skilled at her job. She has transformed my hair. I have been visiting Stone in Canterbury for around 3-4 years. I live in London and travel down to see Jess - she does a fantastic job of cutting and styling my hair. She listens to what I want and then executes exactly as asked. She also provides advice (particularly around how much needs cutting off to maintain healthy hair whilst not losing length etc) and is cheerful and friendly throughout the appointment. In the past Jess has also highlighted my hair - correcting highlights that I was unhappy with. Jess was super professional and expert at the colour, blending a number of shades to create beautiful natural looking highlights - exactly what I wanted! If you are looking for a hairdresser, look no further. I was looking around Canterbury for a hairdresser to go to when I am at university, and I came across Stone Hairdressing. I decided to go and upon entering I was taken back by how polite the staff were and the excellent appearance of the place. When the lady came over to cut my hair, she didn’t at all give the impression she wanted to simply get me in and out as soon as possible. Instead she sat down next to me and asked exactly what I wanted and took the time to look at the photos I gave to her and explain to me how she will replicate them for me. As she began to cut my hair, I was impressed by how she was telling me exactly what she was doing and going to do, and I could truly see how much thought she was putting into it so that I could get the best haircut possible. The icing on the cake was that she was a delightful person to talk to and very kind. I left the building feeling confident, as I felt I got one of the best haircuts I have ever had. What can I say. I love this place and the stylists. In particular, I have my hair cut and styled by Clarice. Overall, the salon has a very nice, comfortable and relaxing environment and the experience begins on the phone when you book. They always answer with such wonderful positivity and friendliness. On entering, I am always greeted with a smile, I am then shown to a chair where someone offers to take my coat (in winter). They always offer a drink and if I ask for tea, they always ask if I'd like water too. Then comes the hair experience. They ask you what they are doing, and more importantly, they listen to what you say and they ask questions along the way to make sure it's what you asked for. Then they take you to the basins... They don't just wash and condition your hair, they head massage your head. I mean, if you weren't already falling asleep with relaxation, you sure are now! And they chat... Not so much that you can't focus on what they are doing but enough to make you feel comfortable and trusting! I can ask Clarice any question about my hair and she will answer with her advice, honestly and with experience. I highly recommend this salon and all the stylists if you want to feel $1 million! Only disappointment is that I can't go here more often than I get to!

Really lovely hairdressers and I had a great experience. I have medium long gents hair and the hairdresser, Clarice, did a really good job! It feels natural and sits really well. There is also complimentary drinks and I will be going back there again next time.

So refreshing to experience Stone Hairdressing in Faversham. Dave and his team offer an expert, personalised service. They give time, they listen, they respond and they do an excellent job.. including complimentary drinks & snacks! I wasn’t happy two days after my new hairstyle (which was my fault as I’d asked for a longer bob) and without quibble Dave re-shaped it into a shorter bob that suited me better. I was looking for a new hairdresser after moving to the area and was a bit nervous to try somewhere new, and I’m glad I found David! He gave me an amazing cut, great advice, and clearly really cares about what he does. I am super happy with my hair and will now be a regular client!

I came across their new client deal and thought I would give it a go. I got an appointment with Annie. She was great! I felt quite worried prior to the appointment as I had not had it cut for over a year. But I didn’t need to worry at all. Annie was very kind and friendly. Very attentive to what I wanted to have done with my hair, when I was unsure she gave me options. I’m so pleased with my hair and how it was cut. I have Annie do my hair for me and honestly such a lovely girl nearly been a year since coming to stone hairdressing and she always makes me feel pampered from the minute I get into the salon until I leave,I’m always happy with the outcome of my hair and she listens to what I want each time all staff are super friendly and the salon has such a relaxed atmosphere!
I had the BEST experience with Annie! I have been box dying my hair black since I was 15, and was finally ready for a change. From the consultation to the actual appointment Annie was so wonderful and helpful. I was in the salon for nearly 6 hours, and she made the process as easy and comfortable for me as possible. I trusted her expertise and and am thrilled about the outcome. I will for sure be booking my next appointment with her!

First time at this salon, already booked my second visit! Annie was lovely, sat down with me at the start to discuss what I’d like and offered some ideas as I was rather vague. Really enjoyed the wash and head massage. Annie checked with me all the time to ensure I was happy with what she was doing. She was meticulous. I am very happy with the cut and finish I had today. Had my first ever cut and finish today with Annie and I couldn't be happier! She did a beautiful job getting my super fine, flat, bolt-straight hair looking full and voluminous! Even managed to get it to curl! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Stone Canterbury is a lovely salon, with a very nice atmosphere. I had a beautiful, beautiful haircut by Jess. I showed her photos of two hair styles that I liked and she talked me through both cuts, which really helped me to make my decision. She also gave me excellent advice regarding colouring options, which I will definately take her up on. Many thanks Jess.

Jess is the blonde specialist I've been trying to find forever and I'm so happy I have! I had not been to a hair dressers in a few years and seeing the great reviews and walking by most days I decided to try stone hair dressing, I booked online (which was very easy through their website) with Jess who was very friendly and easy to talk to plus she has 10 years of experience in hairdressing! She was absolutely amazing and put me at ease instantly. Jess has been doing my now for quite sometime and her expertise and professionalism never disappoint. I absolutely love what Jess did to my hair. I wanted something really naturally looking to cover some grey and that's exactly what I got. It looks just like my own hair from 20 years ago!! This was my first time at the salon and I had the lovely Jess doing my hair. The consultation was really useful as she listened to my ideal hair and then gave advice on how to achieve it so that it would stay healthy. I love my new hair colour and cut! I was well overdue a hair cut and freshen up of the colour, I came to stone on recommendation of all of my friends. Every time I usually go to the hairdressers I never really have that feeling that I love my hair when I leave. Jess has absolutely changed that! She took everything I said during our consultation on board, for example I wanted that white blonde hair and not the yellow blonde that I had, and by gosh she worked her magic!!! It’s absolutely amazing, I’m so happy. We also decided a fringe to frame my face and just to shake things up again would suit, and I am so glad I did! I love my new hair so much! It was so lovely to have a chat and unwind also and I honestly cannot thank Jess enough, I really am still loving my hair so much and I look forward to styling it again! Just had my 2nd Cut and Colour with Jess at Kingshill since lockdown and as always left feeling so pleased with the result. Jess is always professional, makes you feel entirely comfortable and most of all she is patient...especially as I usually have different crazy ideas!!! The salon is so clean and very Covid compliant. I had the best salon experience I’ve ever had! Relaxing and completely enjoyable. My hairdresser was incredibly knowledgable and put me at ease with my hair situation which was great. Would fully recommend their services and will definitely be coming back again in the future.
