Claire did an amazing job on my hair. I had almost given up on my wavy hair and thought I had lost most of my curl, but Claire is an expert of curly hair and my curls are back and the overall shape of my cut suits my face shape. Love it!

I spontaneously booked a 'late offer' appointment and I received a call back and managed to book in for a next day appointment. I was so happy as I needed a cut before my holiday and the process felt effortless. I am always a little anxious about getting a hair cut as I have thick, long, frizzy/wavy... hair. I was booked in with Thea who was beyond amazing! She listened, she considered my face shape and what i was telling her about my lack of styling skills and took time to walk me through what she planned to do. I am beyond happy with the finished look and she was able to help me with some styling tips too. I would highly recommend I also had my 6 year old daughter with me and Thea was kind, offering her drinks and snacks which was a lovely added extra. I will be back! Thank you so much 🙂 read more

Possibly the best haircut I've ever had. I love my greying hair, and I love wearing it very short. Both of these are often difficult to communicate to a stylist. But Gem seemed to just get me, and as a result my hair looks great every day. Recommending to all my friends.

After years of not going to the hairdressers because of numerous poor experiences from stylists professing to understand my curly hair which resulted in poor outcomes, and months of considering trying the “curly cut” at Stone, I finally over came my anxiety and booked a consultation with Jess. She w...as kind and very empathic from the off, took the time to really look at my hair, explain their curly cut process and was incredibly welcoming with absolutely no pressure for me to book a cut there and then. Today I attended for the cut and again Jess was lovely, talked me through precisely what she was going to do and what products would be used. She ensured I was ok and comfortable throughout and for the first time in a salon , I felt unjudged and had an honest and genuine experience which resulted in my hair looking and feeling better than it has in years! Thank you to Jess, it took a lot for me to commit but she remained, kind, professional and attentive throughout. I've been going to Stone for years and I have had a lot of different stylists in that time and every single one without exception has been amazing, professional, friendly and talented. It is always a very welcoming atmosphere, always clean, comfortable and there is always a menu of snacks and drinks... for long appointments. My favourite hairdressers ever! I have curly hair and have spent many years trying to find someone who actually knows what they are doing. My curly hair world transformed when I met Bexx! She is an incredible expert in her field. Bexx listens and delivers exactly what I've asked for and I completely... trust her with my hair. It's so nice, as a curly girl, to be able to put my trust is someone so wholeheartedly. Bexx is also a lovely human being! It's like I'm popping in to get my hair cut by an old friend, and we just pick up where we last left off, without having to navigate the nonsense of small talk. Bexx normally washes my hair but, at my most recent appointment, this was undertaken by their apprentice (my apologies but I cannot remember your name). Although learning and early in her career journey she was brilliant. She knew exactly how to treat my curly hair and was honestly so much better than many self-proclaimed curly experts I've encountered elsewhere in the past. The broader team members that I've spoken with and been greeted by have all been so lovely. Everyone is incredibly welcoming. I've never been someone who loves going to the hairdresser but this place has changed all of that and I really look forward to going now.
