How It All Began
Founded in 1999 by Lea Walters, Stone Hairdressing was created with a vision to bring exceptional hairdressing and outstanding customer service to Canterbury. Inspired by her experience working in the prestigious salons of Knightsbridge, London, Lea established a salon where expertise, creativity, and genuine client care are at the heart of everything we do.
Education has always been a key part of our success. We train many of our stylists in-house and continually invest in their development, ensuring our team stays up to date with the latest cutting, colouring, and styling techniques.
Our partnerships with milk_shake® and ELEVEN Australia help us stay ahead of trends while providing access to high-quality products and ongoing professional education.
What sets us apart is our personalised approach. We take the time to listen, offer expert advice, and create beautiful, bespoke results tailored to every client.
This winning formula led to the opening of our Kings Hill salon in 2004. Then, in 2022, after 23 years of working alongside Lea, Dave Harmer opened Stone Hairdressing Faversham - our first partnership salon and an exciting new chapter in the Stone Hairdressing story.
Today, our passion remains the same: delivering beautiful hair, exceptional service, and an experience our clients love.
